Through revolutionary new technology, Austin Optometrist Dr. Dan R. Bristol is able to offer customized i-Zon™ High Resolution Lenses for both single vision and progressive eyeglasses. These are the first eyeglasses to correct for both visual acuity and quality of vision.

i-Zon Lenses™ are manufactured from a customized prescription unique to each patient. Because the lenses are custom-made, they correct for the optical aberrations unique to every eye. A recent survey of wearers showed that they prefer i-Zon High Resolution Lenses three-to-one over conventional eyeglass lenses. i-Zon™ High Resolution Lenses improve depth, dimension and clarity of vision. The difference between conventional glasses and i-Zon™ Lenses has been described as the difference between regular TV and HDTV. i-Zon™ Lenses improve nighttime driving vision by reducing or eliminating glare, starbursts and halos and providing better definition. Clinical studies prove that i-Zon™ lenses improve nighttime driving reaction by 20 feet.*

Bristol Family Eyecare uses the Z-View™ Aberrometer, the latest in wavefront-guided technology, to create a custom i-Print™, individual to each patient. By measuring the unique optical variations of the eye, we are able to create a customized prescription from which a custom-made pair of i-Zon™ High Resolution Lenses is produced for each patient.
